Burgers and fries ok, kids liked the onion rings and the drinks are great.

What I'd like to know is who is paying for the police to direct traffic there, taxpayers or Sonic?

If it's the taxpayers, I have a problem with the fact that the township approved building this restaurant in a location that can't handle the traffic without police. It is going to cost us more than the revenue generated!

They had police directing traffic when White Castle opened too. If they didn't pay for it than we set a sad precedent. Now we will be paying for traffic control for every business that generates a crowd.

I guess the C of C guys will tell us that the town is getting so much in taxes from the businesses that we should be happy to provide traffic control and perhaps clean up the wrappers thrown along the roadside as well.

If the town shared in a businesses profit I could see it, but we don't. We do share in their losses when they stop making money and plea for lower taxes.

I haven't stopped there  yet and will wait until the traffic dies down and the staff is fully trained and experienced.
