Ed,
I think you might mean vhs movies to dvd? If so we had the same problem and had many vhs tapes, movies and our own home movies of the kids growing up. We bought a sony dvd recorder 2 years ago and transferred them ourselves. It was easy and now all our home movies and some older vhs movies are done. It will not record the newer movies to dvd because of some copyright stuff on it but I am sure there is a device or program to do it. They even have it so you can play the vhs into your computer and then put it on a dvd, software. Smarter folks then me probably know more about it.

Give the Record store on RT 9 a call. You know the place with the cassette on the roof. I thought I had seen where they transfer data now, they might be able to help.
