I have had it with the lovely juveniles that come to James Hollow Ct to hang out with Jarrod - many of them being driven and picked up by their parents.   Why don't you keep them on your street - this way maybe you can hear about how they lost their virginity, prefer oral sex, and count how many times for no reason they drop the f-bomb.  I have two small children and have to keep their bedroom windows closed because your lovely children are screaming, being disrespectful, really don't care who hears what they are talking about, hanging out not at the house you drop them off at but anywhere on the block, and cursing - many times up to 11:00pm.

I would like to say Thank You to Jarrod's Mom for listening to my husband and me last night and also to the Mom who picked up her children in the white SUV.  I truly believe that if you heard the things that your children talked very loudly about - out in the open like it was nothing you would be mortified.

As far as the parent that drives the Mini-Van with the license plate of
VDR 35F - Last night I was trying to be nice and let the parents know and give them a chance to talk about respect and how to behave in public with their children - But since as soon as I started to walk out into the street you floored it - Thank God I was able to jump back quickly just answer me one question:  IS IT THAT YOU DON'T CARE OR ARE YOU ONE OF THOSE IDIOTS THAT BELIEVES THEIR CHILD DOES NO WRONG!!!

Does anyone if Chelse even has parents?  I do not know a last name but she has brownish/blond hair and lives in Glen Arden - we believe it might be on Revere Ct. but are not sure.

If anyone can give me any advice on how to handle this situation I would really appreciate it.  They are breaking curfew - but anytime they hear a car coming they run into the backyard or house (when Jarrod's parents aren't home) so if I call the police I will be wasting their time and our taxpay dollars.

Hopefully with the two parents that I spoke with they will get through to their children about ways to behave - Hey maybe they will even park on one of the other streets and quietly walk down James Hollow - about 9:00 or 10:00 pm and see and hear for themselves or better yet maybe let the kid's hang out at their house instead - or better yet let them hang out by the tennis courts.

Again I am open to suggestions on how to handle this and if it keeps I know that I will need to make this a police issue.  I know the first thing I need to do is keep a log of any contact with them or their parents but does anyone know what complaint I would sign against them?

Why is the corner or cul-de-sac limited to these barbaric cretins?  Why not grab your lawn chair and plop your butt down right in the middle?  Bring some knitting (preferably a lawn sized afghan.)   Or maybe some light reading such as a "War and Peace" or Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged."

I promise - the herd will eventually migrate to another area.

I agree with you 100%.  I live across from a corner and we had the same problem a few years ago.  All were young teens probably around 13-15.  Usually the language was brought in by a neighbor's friends and sometimes it was the neighbor too.  And not just the boys - the girls were much worse!  They would embarrass a truck driver.

I walked over there a few times and offered "suggestions" for nicer play. Eventually the morons found another place to hang out.

I'm on the east side of 9 so I promise I didn't chase them over to Glen Arden.  They are still hanging around in here - just on a different corner.

The downward spiral continues......

So what happened?  Were you able to move them off to another cul-de-sac?
