I have never seen so many leftover candy canes in my life. I spent too much valuable time searching for good recipes for candy cane cookies. Tried one recipe, without butter. They came out beautiful, but no taste. Now, some canes are going to be turned into Valentine crafts, where you butt them together into the shape of a cute heart. Next month, I will be crafting them into windchimes.

As if I didn't, already, have enough candycanes, someone brought me 10 more boxes. All I could do was to smile and say 'Thank-You'...ugh! Seems, Acme was giving them away for free last week.

Being cursed with the compulsion to recycle everything around me, I haven't given-up, yet. If anybody out there has a good 'tried-and-true' recipe for leftover candy cane cookies, cake, or crafts, I would be so happy if you would share it with me. Thank-You, in advance.

Crushed up and mixed in Vanilla Ice Cream is yummy.

I also bought some "Make your own Almond Bark (Vanilla) that I was planning to soften and stir in candy cane pieces to make Peppermint Bark - I haven't tried this yet but it sounds good.

Don't forget to plunk one in a cup of Hot Cocoa!  (Forgot to add that one to the list!)
