I'm looking for something special to bake for desert for our Church's St. Patty's Day Eat in/Take out dinner.  Does anyone have a good recipe to share?

Also... Corned Beef... how do you cook it?  Mine goes right into the crock pot.  Smiley

How about a delicious seven course meal - a 6 pack and a bag of french Fries?  LOL!

The only good thing about corn beef and cabbage is the mustard that goes on top and the beer that helps wash it down.  By itself, it's so bland.

Shred the cabbage and make cole slaw.  Slice the corn beef real thin and get rid of all the rubber bands (fat that surrounds the cut).  Pile on the kraut (drain it wel), some good dijon mustard, a slice of swiss cheese and Thousand Island or Russian dressing.  Load that up on some toasted rye or pumpernickel and make yourself a nice Reuban instead.

You can use most Irish Soda breads to sand drywall too!

Blech!   Tongue

Irish food is nasty and I'm 100% Irish!

Give me a pastrami rheuban samitch and coke instead!

Peace

OK - thanks for your help..  at least PAT stood up to the challenge.   Grin

Here's my contribution - I'm making these today to donate to the church St. Patty's Day dinner.  I hope they come out good!   Smiley

Chocolate Mint Brownies
Make a family size batch of brownies in a 9 x 13” pan.
(I use a mix)  Cool after baking.

2 Cups Confectioner’s Sugar, ½ Cup Butter
2-6T Crème de Menthe (Add 1 T at a time)
(I substituted 1 tsp Mint flavoring) add green food coloring (2 or more drops) to your preference.
Mix and spread over brownie mix.

1 Cup Chocolate Chips, 6 T butter
Melt together – let cool and spread over brownies.
Chill and cut into squares.
