To all the homeowners/renters and business owners - IT'S NOT OK TO THROW YOUR SNOW INTO THE STREET AFTER THE ROADS HAVE BEEN PLOWED. It annoys me enough when homeowners do it - especially when you know the plows won't be coming back. I hope that the person that loses control winds up hitting your house or car and has a big safe car/truck and does not get injured but causes you lots of damage and that their insurance doesn't pay since you were the idiot that caused the problem in the first place. When it's below zero out it will not melt away - cars going over it will cause a slushey mess that will freeze and cause more problems for drivers.
As far as businesses go - if the townships fined each business/strip mall owner that allowed plows to put the snow into the highway again - our snow removal budget would be paid by the fines. Coming from Union County I can't believe that the townships around this area let the businesses get away with this.
