Finally!  Something decent comes out of Hollywood!   A couple movies I highly recommend down below.

We always go to the Clearview Cinama in Ocean.  I get 2 free tickets on Tuesday's with my Optimum Cablevsion Cards.  Their website lists all the movies and they also list, as a percentage, the number of people who reviewed the movie and would recommend the film to others.

http://www.clearviewcinemas.com/cgi-bin/locations.cgi?id=018&flag=diplay_theatre

Click on the "showtimes" box.  Then click on the movie title.   The reviews are on the left.

For Instance - The new movies "Did you hear about the Morgans'" looks absolutely moronic to me.  (I sat through the previews a few times.)  And apparently, the viewers thought the same and only 56% would recommend the film.

These two films below are rated at 96% and 99% so nearly everyone liked the movie.  I've found this to be a good gauge of the movies quality.  Anything below a 75% is probably junk.

I saw "It's Complicated" the other night.   Lots of laughs.  A great line-up with Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin and Meryl Streep.  The web site rated this one at 96%.  If you're middle aged you MUST go see this movie!  It's rated "R" but for some mild reasons.  They are smoking pot in a couple scenes and you see a few bedroom scenes too.  Oddly enough, both scenes are hysterical and far from offensive!

And "The Blind Side" with Sandra Bullock, Kathy Bates & Tim McGraw is also high on my list.  It was rated at 99% on their web site.  (I wonder what those other 1% were thinking?)

I haven't seen it yet but everyone on the planet has told me about it!   Every time I go, the theater is sold out or they moved the film to an inconvenient time.  I'll get there eventually, and I know I will love this film.

Start the new decade off right.  Stop watching garbage movies and reality TV shows.  And start with these two films.
