Although I have been satisfied since 1968 with pizza from Red Moon last night I got
the world's worst pizza.
It may just be that the guy who made it was watching the Rose Bowl Game instead of
what he was supposed to do.
It was a extra large $19.00 pizza
forgot the sauce almost no cheese. over amounts of raw (not cooked) peppers and onions. I was offered a new pie (didn't want one) refused a refund.

Seems that pizza places are putting more sauce less cheese. Guess the price is cheaper to make. We always tell whoever we order from to put less sauce on it and it is much better.
I hope I didn't open up a can of worms here. Just a suggestion. Wink

Lino's is still good.   Grin  We've been going to them for 25 years.  Red Moon is grease city.  bleh!

Mr. Lino makes a great ziti w/vodka sauce too - tell him Mrs. Extra Crispy sent you!  (He doesn't know my name but knows us as the Extra Crispy family.)   Cheesy

Jody,

LINO'S has the best eggplant parm! It's made with a batter instead of crumbs. The sauce is great and if you like cheese they use it generously. We went to them when they were farther north on 9.

Linos has been great but now I'm hearing lots of good things aout Luigi's.  Many friends have gone to both and they all said they like it better.

I'll have to give it a try.

Just saw this - thanks Ginger - I'll have to try it - although I'm not fond of too much cheese but I like the other stuff.
I don't remember them being further north - they've been in the same place since we moved to Howell 25 years ago.

Make your're own.  It's pretty simple and you can freeze it.

Zucchini is in abundance now and I'm going to try substituting it for the eggplant and see how it tastes.

I've never made it Pat.  We don't grow eggplant - I'm the only one that eats it.

Our plants aren't producing yet (zucchini).  We've got plenty of flowers but that's it.  Same thing happened last year.  Cukes.. we've got a bumper crop - need any?  (they're supposedly burpless  Roll Eyes )   At least the zucchini I can grill or sneak it in salads when they're not looking.  Cheesy

Tomatoes - we've got lots of them - all green.  Peppers aren't doing much either.  I think Jack planted everything late because of the wacky weather.

Yes Jodie, ours are still green. Peppers, well the less water you give them the hotter they will be.
