Someone I know in Howell is looking to get a French Drain installed in their wet basement. Anyone have any reliable contractors I can refer her to. Thanks.

We have a french drain and it causes more problems than its worth.

My basement floor/drains are not pitched correctly so water comes up on the floor through the french drains on the wall opposite the sump pump. Make sure your friend knows that this can happen . . . she may want to rethink the idea.

She is looking for some suggestions. Figure I would get more responses. Guess many people don't read all the sub-threads.
