What do you mean? Like a special camera hook up or one of those trucks with a satellite dish on top? We haven't had any really exciting news in Howell since the transvestite held someone hostage and the swat team responded.

Like I said, a television news outlet (might have been local like channel 9) rolled up, full-gear, to town hall to either interview someone(s) or obtain some documentation/materials the station thought would be of interest to its viewers.

That's all I know and since my "good friend"   Cool  Roll Eyes  Kiss Mayor Bobby only posts here when it suits him (like when he's running for office but not when he's being interviewed by a TV news reporter   Wink ) there may be no quick answers. A wait and see is definitely called for here.

I don't know why they would be there today...maybe something to do with their 'Snow Storm Coverage'. I did see our manager, Helene Schlegel, on Ch.2 (CBS) News on Sat. night talking about our 'snow removal' budget.

Somebody I know was in a hardware store in Jackson earlier today, looking for a belt for his snow blower. News 12 NJ was there as part of their Storm Coverage.

So, if the news people are there, at our Town Hall, they're probably doing a report on these Snow Storms.

Edit: I just read your new post Kathy about possibly being Ch9. So, since I know Ch.12 was here, locally, I would have to guess that they swung-over to our Town Hall for their Storm Coverage of this area.

Makes sense if they are reporting on the snow since I just heard from a friend tracking the storm that we may possibly get up to 2 ft. of snow.  If that does happen so soon after the storm we just had, I can't imagine how we'll survive here in Howell.

ha ha, Kathy, that was funny. I'm watching Ch 12 to see if my friend is going to be on tv. Now, I have to keep an eye on Ch 9 to see Town Hall.

But......you said Ch 9 at 11 pm? Isn't their News on at 10 pm?

Cheech,

According to my Cablevision channel guide, it is on at 11pm like I said. (Someone named Wendy Williams has a show from 10p to 11p).

Now I gotta go set the DVR to record Jon Stewart before I forget.  Roll Eyes  Wink  Grin

Well, I just saw Helene & my favorite sleigh-riding hill on Ch9 News. It was a very short clip. I have to watch to see if they go back to it.

It was an "area piece" in which a short clip featured Township Manager Helene Schlegel basically beseeching the state for money saying the township has already depleted this year's snow removal budget.

Fox News has been running a piece (last night and this morning) with Helene and they have a nice shot of our "sledding hill".

Yep Joe, here we go again!  Huge snowstorm, bigger than the last, is fast approaching.  The chance of seeing any snow removal vehicles this time around is unlikely since none were seen last weekend on our street.  Good thing I can't leave the house anyway.  If I did, I'd surely kill myself on all the snow/ice out there!   Cheesy

Hot chocolate for everyone!
