Just wanted to update my feelings on purchasing wood from a company called Baby Sister's wood. I believe they are based in Howell, they advertise in the Asbury Park Press every day under firewood. The reason they can run an ad for so long is that they short ship cords of wood. I ordered a cord of wood last March, they delivered just over a half cord, said they would be back (not). They do not respond to phone calls. So buyer beware! Do NOT buy from Baby Sister's.

There are enough people on craigs list giving away free firewood, they will even cut it to size for you, all you have to do is pick it up. Of course the best time for this is after a good wind storm. Just be careful you don't get the soft woods. I have a woodburnig stove that puts out so much heat that I had to put registers in my ceiling to help the heat get upstairs. Before I started using my stove last year on budget with the gas company it was running over $150.00 per month. The wood stove is my primary heat source in the winter, now my budget is less than $50.00 per month.

Great Lead Larry.  Thanks again, I will be checking Craigs list after every storm now as there can never be enough wood.
