My neighbor and I took pity on a few strays in our neighborhood and of course they had kittens.  We are looking into low cost spay/neuter for the strays and homes for the kittens.

If anyone is interested in a kitten, please let me know via PM here or my email.

They are currently 4 weeks old and will be ready to go home when weaned - I would imagine 2-4 weeks from now.

The Mom is an unusual sort of brindle color and the Dad we assume is the grey striped with spots based on the coloring of the kittens.  Some have spots, some have stripes - one is very unusually striped, not back to stomach but lengthwise neck to tail.

They are precious - Have they been inside since being born?  I may know someone interested but the last outside stray kitten she adopted - after a clean bill of health died a month later so she won't take anymore straight from the outside.

Jackie - they've been outside the whole time.  They have been handled a bit and don't seem to be shy at all as you can see by the video.

No - I saw that but I still don't think she's ready to take that chance after her last heartbreak.

We're already maxed out with a dog, a cat, a pond filled with fish, frogs, etc.

I wouldn't mind another cat by my current feline is fairly dominent (a real bitch!) and isn't that fond of guests.  Even my little Weiner dog is at her mercy and gets an unprovoked swat whenever she walks by.

I'll keep my eyes open for prospective parents.

Pat - so is mine, the only ones I don't have to worry about her with is my kids - I have never before meet a cat that will swat anyone that annoys her, beat up any size dog (she took on my sister 100lb lab and ok no blood but won the dog backed off), yet my kids can do almost anything to her and all she will do is high tail it out of their way.  I would love a kitten but right now don't have the $$ for a new pet (spaying, feline leukemia test, shots, ect....).  I actually just tried in work today to get someone to take one.

Thanks Jody for taking on the job of "foster mom"

Kittens are now 5 weeks old and as far as I know are all still available though I am sorely tempted to keep one.  Today's video:

Kittens will be 6 weeks old tomorrow and are eating on their own and using a litterbox.  They are all still available and very adorable.  I saw that the ASPCA is having a half price kitten sale.  These guys are free to a good home.  Please let me know if anyone is interested and please spread the word.

7 Weeks old now - 2 are striped males, 1 male, one female spotted and 1 female brown patterned - she is the tiniest one.

Still looking for homes although I may be keeping one of the females.  We are handling them daily and even introducing them to the dogs.

Striped and spotted:
